Julie Balay is a Registered Dietitian and Board Certified Sports Dietitian. She earned her Master’s Degree in Clinical Nutrition from New York University and was a Certified Personal Trainer for 15 years. She currently runs a private practice in Cresskill, NJ where she specializes in eating disorders and sport nutrition. Julie is also a 15 year faculty member at Montclair State University where she teaches Sports Nutrition to the RD’s of the future.
In her spare time Julie is an endurance sports nut. The four-time Ironman triathlon finisher now brings her passion to mountain biking, off-road triathlons, and trail races. When not getting dirty, Julie loves to cook delicious and nutritious meals for herself and her loved ones that feed both the body and soul. Also working mom, she strives to help others achieve their goals while managing the elusive work:life balance!
