A Little about me - How I came about to do Photography as my passion and Hobby

Well, where do I begin first let me explain taking you back to the beginning

In, 2000, the death of my eldest son, was a horrible heart-breaking shock to my life. My doctor told me to buy a pair of takkies and camera, and go for a walk, take pictures of the things my son loved, go to places that he visited, capture his life of what he achieved during his time on earth, and see the happiness he loved, through the eyes of me. I did that, at first everything revolved around my late son, then way back in 2004, with power point presentations that I did for our home-school end year farewell, adding music and pictures and make it a special moment to remember for the students.. And of course lots of tears were always shed. Once this got better and easy for me to prefect things,.

I continued with my photography.. But the photos were boring I needed to spice them up a little, taking the photos and add bright, fantasy backgrounds into them and now my photo fun art edits began.

Photo shoot sessions began with my granddaughters and now a whole new line of photos edits began, I really enjoyed being behind a camera and the most wonderful taking a snap is capturing a special moment to treasure for ever.

Then come along another idea, taking photos and making memory movie disc... this was so special, even when my puppy passed away I made a special tribute to him. My love of angels and fairies that become magic stories to write and put them into a movie. I published them on You Tube and have had a lot of comments about my world

My photo shoots opened out from family to friends to their friends, this is so enjoyed working with people preparing, getting poses right and then end results in the photos are just so outstanding.

My first wedding session I did for my friends Alan and Jacqui - a very happy and sad moment in my life, as Alan was dying from Cancer and wanted to marry his darling.. a day after the wedding Alan passed away - he never got to see my pictures.

I wrote and made my first home movie called steps 5,6,7,8 - that was terrific.. all home schoolers who attended my resource centre started in it.... the children thought that were Hollywood stars - which I think they were.

From 2004 to 2006, all the practice, ideas come to a head, and that when Timeless Sentiments, got it name.. I. ask people to help with my practice shoots, creative works ect.. and now  in 2011   open the doors and spread my wings. Took the challenge to take photos of friends, then their friends.. So that’s how I am here - my work and results are is all from the heart. 

The name Timeless Sentiments, I felt sounded rather nice and magical... Capturing memories, keeping them, one can always go back and take a look at those moments, which will forever sentiments.

I enjoy capturing life's beauty--- whether that be in people or in nature & capturing WHO my clients are with their unique personalities and interests.

I do mostly natural light photo shoots meaning I prefer using the outdoors as the location and taking, but also love the indoor shoots, as I feel these are the challengers because you don’t have the beauty of the outdoors, your captured moments have to be the beauty all in itself.

I've done mostly senior pictures, family portraits, kids' portraits, and couples sessions/engagements as well as many of events, but always looking to broaden my horizons with whatever opportunity comes up.
