He didn’t whisper it. He didn’t sigh it. He declared it. “It is finished.” The final breath of Jesus wasn’t resignation—it was triumph. Every sin, every shame, every failure was dragged to the cross and buried in His body. He unplugs the lie that we need to earn grace. That we still have something to prove. That maybe we’re still not enough. On the cross, Jesus says, You are forgiven. It is finished.
