True House Music with DJ Nadir Wright

Everything Changes

Listen Later

Hey Kids. I am back yet again with more new music. So this
mix took a lot more effort than my recent efforts. I couldn’t find the right
vibe and then once I did I had to keep editing out certain song because they
didn’t give me what I needed her. So this mix is definitely just a  touch less hard than the last several mixes.
I know I will be disappointing some of my fans, but at the same time I will be
pleasing others. I decided to embrace all sounds of my music interests even if
it sometime confusing or disappointing to fans who expect a particular side
consistently.
Truthfully, there are common ingredients for all my mixes. I
have to have dope bass lines. I have to have thoughtful and meaningful vocals
peppered throughout. I am sure some of you do listen to the lyrics, but they
always provide insight as to whats up with me. The best part about this is I
don’t necessarily consciously select songs for their lyrics. I sample dozens of
songs and organize 13-17 songs that I might work with it. Its not until I
fished the whole mix that I  uncover the
hidden meanings of my mixes.
So this mix reminds me of the legendary Junior Vasquez. He
was famous for bring it hard with big beats but then transitioning into full on
vocals and also featured songs that most other DJs wouldn’t touch.  Most of the tracks are many years old, some
10 years or more. But at the same time I believe they are timeless, as they
sound current as ever. There of course some new tracks.
So sorry for this novel, but I am feel rather proud and I am
reflecting a great deal on this mix. Its fun and the energy remains high
despite it not being full on circuit music. I hope you love this deeply
personal mix, as it filled with some of my all-time favorites from pivotal
moments in my evolution.
I am withholding the track listening because I want the gems
to be surprises.
Love,
DJ Nadir Wright
