In this episode, I had a conversation with a guest who shared a deeply personal part of her story. She lost both of her parents and found herself without anyone to sponsor her education. Yet, in a season where she had no idea how things would work out, she was awarded a scholarship she had not even applied for.

Her story is a reminder that God’s presence is not always seen in the way we expect. Sometimes, He is already making a way before we even know we need one.

This is a conversation about God being present in every season, especially in the moments when we cannot see what He is doing.

God never promised us a life free from affliction.

There will be moments when the prayers seem unanswered, when the pain feels overwhelming, and when you find yourself asking, “God, where are You in all of this?”

But what exactly is God’s promise to us in the midst of it all?

Not a promise that we will never face difficult seasons, but the assurance that we will never face them alone.

Because sometimes, the greatest comfort isn't knowing when the affliction will end.

It is knowing Who is with you while you walk through it.

There are seasons when God's presence feels undeniable, when everything seems to be falling into place, prayers are being answered, and you can clearly see His hand in your life.

But what about the seasons that don't feel like that?

What about the waiting, the uncertainty, the silence, the disappointment, the transitions, and the moments when you look around and wonder, “God, where are You?”

This episode of Everything Christian Talks is an honest conversation about the presence of God in every season, phase, and moment of our lives. We talked about what it means to trust that God is present even when His presence doesn't look the way we expected it to, and when we don't necessarily feel Him.

Because God's presence isn't determined by our emotions, our circumstances, or how clearly we can see what He is doing.

So the question isn't only, “Is God really present in our lives?” It is also: Can we learn to live with an awareness of His presence, even when life tells us otherwise?
