We love to boast. We boast about our wealth, our sin, our idols, our future, our abilities, and even our spiritual accomplishments. Yet David tells us in Psalm 5:5 that "the boastful shall not stand before your eyes." In Scripture, God promises to silence our shameful boasts while giving us something truly great to boast about. By daily celebrating God's mighty work, boasting in our own weaknesses and giving all glory to God, we can truly boast about what is great.
