We’re often times expectant of what God is going to do for us. This expectancy isn’t a bad thing, but where we mess up is when we get frustrated since He’s not doing it exactly how we thought He would. The same people who were praising Jesus on Palm Sunday were wanting Him crucified only 5 days later. They were expecting Him to be an earthly king, but His purpose was to be our heavenly king. This was a much better gift, but they simply didn’t like the packaging. His ways are not our ways and His thoughts are not our thoughts. If we truly have faith in Jesus, we will be willing to see what He has in store, no matter how He goes about fulfilling it!
