This week on Wellbeing, we talk with Evie, the former partner of an Alcoholic. Alcoholism runs in Evie’s family and although she never herself has had a problem with it, she has found herself in the past attracted to partners that struggled with alcohol. In this episode, Evie shares with us the dysfunction alcoholism can cause in a relationship and how she ended up herself mentally ill as a result of someone else’s drinking. Evie is a member of Al-Anon family groups and this episode is a part of our series in which we speak to members of that group.
Tune in next week where we talk with Prof. Clare Collins about nutrition and diet.
