Most Horror fans were very, very worried that Dede Alvarez's 2013 remake of The Evil Dead would be a heartless cash-in on the 1981 original. But Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell did not let us down. If remakes are a hard-sell for you, let Lucas make the argument. If you want a Horror flick, this movie is a solid portion of the Evil Dead canon.
