Today on episode 4 we discuss minutes 7 & 8.bIt starts with our introduction to deadites in the film, Linda attacking Ash who quickly dispatches her with a shovel. And it ends after the epic Sam-o-Cam shot when Evil Ash lifts his head from the water! The editing in the opening shots is so quickly paced it feels almost like an Edgar Wright scene.

We include another exclusive clip from special makeup design and creation Mark Shostrom who came up with many of the memorable effects in the film.

Shostrom has done some of the most iconic makeup sequences in classics like From Beyond, Videodrome, A Nightmare on Elm Street series, Prince of Darkness, Phantasm II and III, and many of the Star Trek properties. Follow him @themarkshostrom
