There are signs around us that Love has grown cold in our culture. Love has grown cold when mainstream society has so rejected the thought of standing up for the most innocent among us that they will come against movies that seek to raise awareness about child trafficking. If you kill a sea turtle egg you can face prison time but if you end the life of a child you are celebrated.

Little by little as we allow these feelings to settle in our hearts- we as the church and as Christ followers – let our love grow cold. Because after all, it’s hard to love when we are filled with hate.
