In the early 1900s, Clementine Barnabet was known as the very first African American serial killer. Some have even claimed that she belonged to a gang The Human Five. Clementine had been a member of the Church of Sacrifice, where people claimed that they sacrificed humans for riches. The police officials had dubbed her as a Voodoo priestess, and she was convicted of killing 35 people with an ax. Even as she sat in jail, these ax murders continued on and some believe that it could have been white people who were committing the murders and blaming them on her. Listen to her story and you decide.
