It's our 50th episode and Mr Popcorn made a random call to chill out with some corny and sometimes cringey but important horror comedy. The somewhat satirical and visually gag-heavy Scary Movie (2000) is a Wayans Brothers production that showed a level of black involvement and control of output that was not seen again - on a blockbuster level - until Jordan Peele's Get Out in 2017. Evil Popcorn can't always be intense and black people like Horror Hollywood!. Don't worry, we will be back with a cult classic for you next time Children of the Popcorn and thank you for your patronage of our eclectic and inclusive programming. 💀🍿
