The theory of evolution states that through small, incremental changes over time, life arose on earth -- at first simple, and gradually more complex. This process of natural selection enabled dinosaurs to become birds and -- more controversially -- simple primates to evolve into human beings. But is it really possible for life to arise from non-living matter? And if it did, was it possible for simple organisms swimming in a pool of early chemicals to eventually crawl out onto land, morphing over time into the vast diversity of life and civilization we see on earth today? That’s what we set out to uncover in this episode.Smithsonian Site: http://humanorigins.si.edu/James Tour: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r4sP1E1Jd_YBe sure to catch next week's very special episode where Diasiss interviews American author, speaker and atheist activist Aron Ra!Support this show on Patreon:https://www.patreon.com/isthatforrealWatch the videos on YouTube:https://youtube.com/c/isthatforrealListen to the podcast of this show at:https://isthatforreal.podbean.com/https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/is-that-for-real/id1497389586Join our Facebook group at:https://www.facebook.com/groups/524460561439197/The _Is That For Real?_ logo was designed by Kawaii Pigeon.
