Jerry read several quotes from Charles Darwin's The Descent of Man to demonstrate several of Darwin's beliefs: that white people were superior to others, that more civilized (i.e., evolved) people would eventually exterminate the less civilized humans, and that compassion in humanity (in the form of asylums, laws to help the poor, vaccinations, and hospitals) resulted in a weaker human race. He then showed the logical connection between Darwin's macroevolutionary hypothesis and false ideas such as racism, eugenics, and Nazism. He ended by showing that a belief in the Bible cannot logically lead to racism.
