So Instagram says (among a legion of other unreasonable things) that they’ll be recording your reactions to the posts they put in front of you in their new Terms of Service, effective in two days.   

Almost everyone I know says this is a dealbreaker for them - and are prepared to just lose some business and hustle on learning a new platform ASAP.  

I disagree! There’s a way to make twice as much on Instagram without ever downloading the app again. Also, how can you be sure that the next platform you invest in won’t do you dirty like this? How are you sure Joe Biden won’t do to Parler what Trump did to TikTok? Do you really want to do this all over again in ten years? How can you ensure your customers will follow you everywhere you go?
