Topic: EXALTED HORN!
Memory Verse: "And Hannah prayed, and said, my heart rejoiceth in the LORD, mine horn is exalted in the LORD: my mouth is enlarged over mine enemies; because I rejoice in thy salvation" - 1 Samuel 2:1 KJV
Bible Text: Psalm 92:10 KJV
10. But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.
INSPIRATION: There're many things that challenge our God-given dominion (Gen. 1: 28) and make our heads bow in shame (Luke 13: 11). Life challenges us on all fronts, hence the need to give attention to seeing that your head remains anointed with fresh oil and lifted. The anointing is God's empowerment that defies the enemy forces. For an animal, its horn is a weapon of attack and defense; in biblical context, it refers to a symbol of power, authority, strength, enablement, dignity, etc. To have your horn exalted denotes prosperity and victory.
It is possible for someone's head or horn not to be exalted. But that would mean being striped of all dignity and glory. Hence we speak and raise standards against everything that challenges your horn from being exalted. Your head shall not stay bowed in shame; your heavens will be open and the power of God through Christ shall exalt your head above the reproach of Satan. You'll walk in victory against all odds. Anything that targets your horn bows to the authority in the name of Jesus Christ.
TODAY'S TAKE HOME:
The anointing of God will terminate your appointment with shame. Henceforth, disgrace shall be far removed from your dwelling.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, may my horn remain fully and always exalted; may Your fresh anointing come upon me with such an empowering force and knowledge to thrive in my new status. The power of shame is destroyed; my horn is not broken, neither am I subjected to the mercy of the wicked, in Jesus name.
