Exalted Lord Defines our next portion of Isaiah’s Prophetic book. In part 85 we are going through Isaiah’s Prophecy directed at Judah concerning the entire Assyrian move against Judah. It is here that Jerusalem faced one of its most dangerous foes. When speaking of Jerusalem as believers we know how this city has been conquered, re-conquered, and has had lots of bloodshed within and without its walls. There is no doubt Jerusalem is today a place we look at as Zion. Only the future city of God which comes down from heaven, the heavenly city, the bride; the one we consider Zion will be fulfilled. See Revelation for this. The most important item here is that the Lord will be Exalted and not flesh on that day. Nor on the day of Judgment is flesh exalted; but only the Lord is Exalted in his righteous Justice and Judgment
