Examining Scripture: Prayer & Examples In Scripture - Part 1
This is the first episode of a two part series where we discuss prayer; prayer in general with some examples in the Old Testament.
Our discussion covers various Scripture on prayer including Matthew 6:9-13 & 7:7-8, John 14:13-15 & 16:23-24, Romans 8:26-27, 1 Corinthians 10:13, 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 and James 5:16. We discuss two Old Testament prayers in 1 Samuel 2:1-10, Psalm 51 and Daniel 2:17-23.
Examining Scripture is targeted to Believers in Jesus Christ. Our thesis is the Bible intimidates Christians. As laypeople, we encourage Believers to seek answers to their circumstances by going into scripture to find what God has to say.
