Good book to learn and know how to use excel especially for beginners!
Super informative and helpful. The book does have mistakes in it though. But that's alright because it kinda tests you. Haven't finished the whole book yet but seems good so far and a highly practical book that takes the mystery out of modeling by working a number of problems, each introduced in small chunks, and all using excel's built in functionality and it covers most of the most important techniques and the "lots of small chapters" approach allows the user to learn both Excel and modeling capabilities in a relatively painless way and multiple editions have stood the test of time, and i've found that other people independently have come to the conclusion that this is the right place to start on both using excel more effectively and thinking about decisions from a modeling perspective and i recommend it to all students (undergrad and masters level) both for the "tips and tricks" as well as the examples and know how to use a tool is good and important and knowing the kind of things you can use a tool for is even better and i have gotten feedback from students that knowing how to use the "Solver" (covered in this book) was a distinguishing characteristic when they interviewed.
Must Read
On the off chance that you at any point needed to know the fundamentals of how to utilize Excel, this is a helpful book to get to fill in as a kind of perspective to make them utilize Excel in the blink of an eye. From how to make a spreadsheet to exploring through cells, this book has all the fundamental data. All things considered, I cherish how the writer urges its perusers to apply everything that can be learned in this book so information won't simply end up noticeably negligible learning.
I was so amazed with all the different possibilities available for handling your ...
I use a lot of spreadsheets in my work and quite honestly, I am no expert in Excel and Google Sheets. I've always wondered where I could learn all those formulas and programming in these spreadsheets so when I saw this book, I immediately got it and started reading.
