Picking up right where left off last time in a section that deals with some

areas of practical living as a Christian. We’re in a letter to a young

church which is vibrant and yet vulnerable. On fire for the Lord but

needing to be shored up as we always can expect as the people of God.

Chapter 4 marked a shift where Paul begins to deal with the theology and

practice of the Thessalonians. And he exhorts them to excel in three areas

of their life. Pay close attention in these three areas:

* Sexual purity

* Love

* Honorable living
