In today's readings, we get a very basic gospel message about the exchange of natures that is at the heart of the gospel itself. For in becoming a human person, Jesus Christ took on our nature in order to give us something of the Divine nature, eternal life and the character of love. If we only understood this exchange our understanding of the gospel would transform our lives!
