#139 - Exchanger Danger

Hash rates have gone down all around the cryptoverse with the continued downward trend of crypto prices.  But another danger lurks in the corner - With lower volumes and profitability there's a possibility of consolidation in crypto exchanges as smaller exchanges close and larger exchanges add new trading pairs. This means there is a danger of losing our crypto if we are keeping it on an account in an exchange.

Therefore now is the time to look at exchanges. What are they, why are there so many small exchanges, and why should we not keep our crypto in an exchange?
