TWO IN ONE DAY? WHY GOD WHY?

Well we had of scheduling issues this time around and we couldn't seem to make it work. Rather than rescheduling for a third time we opted to meet with the majority and have Joe do his ranking solo.

Enjoy!

WE ARE BACK!

Trying something a little different here. Instead of the full on deep dives we normally do, we decided to experiment with doing an album ranking episode and the victim of our experiment are none other than MESHUGGAH!!!!!

Meshuggah are pioneers in extreme metal. Often... my god SO OFTEN imitated but never quite duplicated, the band have churned out a heroic number of albums and we are here to pass judgement on them all. Enjoy!

The 90s were a tough time for bigger metal acts. Even huge established acts weren't immune.

In this first of a series, we deep dive into a band's 90s output and see now they faired. Our first target is Iron Maiden and it's a DOOZY.

Enjoy!

Before you can even finish episode one, we hit you in the crotch with another 2 plus hours of yapping about Carcass. We bid a fiend farewell to Carcass' pathological era and pick up at Heartwork and plow straight on up to Torn Arteries. Enjoy!

Episode one of the Carcass season is upon us and we have the whole crew of Joe, Edd, Cory and Marc on board for it. This episode starts with Reek Of Putrefaction and goes all the way out to the Tools Of The Trade EP. We are experimenting with longer episodes so strap in as this is two GADAMN hours! Enjoy!

This episode is a detour into the SUB SUB SUB genre of Death

and Roll. Death metal with a healthy infusion of RAWK AND OR RAWL swagger. You might think the only example of this is Entombed's Wolverine Blues but let me tell you pal....yer kinda right. That being said, international correspondent Edd did a deep dive on the genre and turned it in to a pretty fun if not incredibly loose talk. ENOY!!!!!

The final DEP episode is here! In this episode we cover One Of Us Is The Killer and Dissociation. We also review the bands body of work as a whole and just wrap the season in general. Thanks again to Cory and Joe for doing this. Thanks to everyone who listened. We will be back soon!

Episode 6 of the DEP season brings us to Marc's personal favorite Greg album, Option Paralysis. We also quickly touch on their collaboration with Public Enemy for a cover of Fight The Power.

This episode brings us to DEP's Ire Works. This is their second full length with Greg and opinions are varied. We also discuss the band's appearance on Conan O'brien and Conan's weird street cred.

Episode 4 of the DEP deep dive brings us to Miss Machine. This is the band's first release after bringing in FNG Greg Puciato and this is where we start arguing a little bit. We also fall down an industrial metal tangent and touch on their covers EP, Plagiarism.
