After I initially covered the Oregon militia standoff, I had a host of comments from regular listeners of this show as well as drive by listeners who don't know me from Adam.
I was surprised at the number of people who were offended I didn't instantly throw my support behind the militiamen. Well, yesterday I got an email from someone who was at the Oregon refuge, and I invited him on the show today to talk about his first-hand account with the standoff.
What I heard was shocking, but not for the reason you think. My guest (I'll just call him Clint so as to protect his family who is ranchers in Oregon) and I talked through everything from how the standoff started to what the militias demands are. Then I asked him about his experiences with the BLM, and his response was perhaps the most shocking thing of all.
Listen to today's show to hear the whole story.
We then move on to the 1.5 billion dollars Nesky fund that just closed up shop. Why, you ask? They say they can't make money in this economic environment. What we discuss in the back half of today's show should give anyone with a retirement account pause. It's a must listen to show. Listen now.
