Dan Schmidt has been with Deer and Deer Hunting for 25 years. He started off as an associate editor in 1995 and worked his way up to editor in chief. Today he is vice-president of the company and overseas all content production, including Deer and Deer Hunting Magazine, three television shows on Pursuit Channel, http://www.deeranddeerhunting.com (www.deeranddeerhunting.com) and all of the brand's online video properties. Dan is also the creator and host of the Deer Talk Now video series, which is going on its 9th season.
Mission
Deer and Deer Hunting is America's oldest whitetail-specific publication (established in 1977 by the Stump Sitters Whitetail Study Group).
