Exclusive Premiere: Broken Keys - Do I Have To (Tall Black Guy remix)
Ahead of his forthcoming album Moving With the Current, Los Angeles multi-instrumentalist and producer Broken Keys returns to Outer Spaceways with “Do I Have To,” the first single from the project.
Today we’re premiering side B from the 7", Tall Black Guy’s remix, which brings his Detroit touch to the track through dusty drums, bumpy bass, and a warm, cosmic feel.
About the release, Broken Keys said: “When I played TBG the album, ‘Do I Have To’ was the one that caught him right away. He asked for the stems, and a couple days later the remix was back. Working with him is always easy because the flow is there, and this version has been in rotation for me ever since. I’m stoked to finally share it!”
