In late May, Chattanooga's One Westside Plan was announced that would spur more redevelopment for a part of Downtown Chattanooga called the Bend.

That is a huge piece of property on the West End of the city along the banks of the Tennessee River.

This One Westside project involves the City of Chattanooga, Hamilton County, the owner of the Bend, Urban Story Ventures, and more. 

Urban Story Ventures has called the Bend Chattanooga's next great urban neighborhood.

The One Westside project will include commercial space, a riverfront park, and thousands of new homes.

Among those new homes at least 10 percent of the housing will be set aside for affordable housing.
