Exercise Control Over You (4 of 4)

The only way to receive all that God offers, even the abundant life, is to be 'One' with Him. So often you and I have prayed for this or that thing, thinking it would bring us happiness; or if you had it, then you could serve others. But this is not so, becoming One starts with you. You must start where you are and seek to be united with God, then your health, wealth, and relationships will increase and you will find satisfaction and fulfillment. Wallace Wattles put it this way: “We do not really seek, through prayer, to get health, peace, power or wealth; we seek to get unity with God; and when we get unity with God, health, peace, power and wealth are ours without asking” (A New Christ). All things are possible Through God's Power (TGP), but again it starts with you. You must start by turning deep within you. You are a son or daughter of God—His Divine DNA is at your core. Look deep within your being and surrender your lower case self (the carnal nature) to the upper case Self (the divine nature)—in that moment you will be open to the God reign within you (YLT Luke 17:20-21), which is an invitation to let God be your Mentor. The path to One (or Unity) is only possible TGP (Through God’s Power). No matter your background or upbringing you are able to discover and realize your Divine Potential. Tapping into this Vine is the only path to live life more abundantly and to begin to receive all that God has—without the Vine you and I are nothing.
