Philippians 2:5-11
....
Philippians 2:5–11 presents Jesus Christ as the supreme example of humility by showing how He willingly laid aside His rights and status for the good of others. Though fully God, Christ did not cling to His divine privileges but chose the path of a servant, humbling Himself by becoming human and obeying the Father even to the point of a shameful death on a cross. His humility was not weakness but intentional obedience and self-giving love. Because of this, God exalted Him above all, giving Him the name above every name, so that all creation will one day acknowledge His lordship. The passage teaches that true humility involves self-emptying service and obedience to God, trusting that God alone brings exaltation in His time.
