Dr Owen Emmerson is a social and cultural historian, author, broadcaster, and historical consultant. He is Assistant Curator at Hever Castle in Kent and recently served as a historical consultant for the BBC’s adaptation of Wolf Hall: The Mirror and the Light. Owen has appeared in numerous television documentaries and specialises in the social and cultural history of the sixteenth century.
