We join our party in the middle of an assignment, having agreed to venture into a shadowy pocket dimension to confront a dark entity, Kage the First Born, before he can gather enough power to break into our world. Having joined forces with a halfling paladin they found trapped inside from a previous incursion (Bran Entwood, played by guest John Vavrin), the party have faced shadowy personal trials designed by Kage to break their spirits as they try to press onward into his dark domain. Having faced and overcome the trial for each member and being rewarded in some manner for their efforts, the only one left untested is Gill (because I was unable to attend the last session). Our resident Rogue, Arathast, has also just left. Having received the long coveted cypher for his late father's journal, he has departed to pursue his mother's killer in his father's stead. It is uncertain if he will ever return.
