As disciples of Jesus, we live in the world as strangers and aliens. Hardships and difficulties are to be expected. Suffering is inevitable in this broken world. But Peter writes instructing us how to live with a living hope. When we know who we are in Christ and what is ours we discover the strength to endure and thrive in the face of opposition.
