Éxodo 27: La Única Entrada a la Presencia de Dios.
Éxodo 27:16-21 RVA2015:
“En la entrada del atrio habrá una cortina de nueve metros de material azul, de púrpura, de carmesí y de lino torcido, obra de bordador. Sus pilares y sus bases serán cuatro. Todos los pilares alrededor del atrio estarán ceñidos de plata. Sus ganchos serán de plata, y sus bases de bronce. El atrio será de cuarenta y cinco metros de largo, de veintidós metros y medio de ancho y de dos metros veinticinco centímetros de alto. Sus mamparas serán de lino torcido; y sus bases, de bronce. “Todos los utensilios para el servicio del tabernáculo, así como todas sus estacas y las del atrio, serán de bronce. “Tú mandarás a los hijos de Israel que te traigan aceite de olivas claro y puro para la iluminación, a fin de hacer arder continuamente las lámparas. Aarón y sus hijos las dispondrán delante del SEÑOR, en el tabernáculo de reunión, fuera del velo que está delante del testimonio, desde el anochecer hasta el amanecer. Este es un estatuto perpetuo de los hijos de Israel, a través de sus generaciones.

Este capítulo abarca la construcción del altar de bronce, donde el pueblo presentaría sus ofrendas y holocaustos al Señor. Después sigue el diseño del atrio del tabernáculo, que es la entrada al tabernáculo de Dios y el lugar que los sacerdotes usaban para ofrecer los sacrificios porque allí estaban el altar y la fuente de bronce. Al final explica acerca del aceite especial y puro que debía traerse para alumbrar el tabernáculo dentro del lugar santo con el candelabro de 7 lámparas.
Quisiera hoy que detallemos la construcción de la entrada. El tabernáculo tenía solo una entrada. No había otra alternativa para acceder a la presencia de Dios. Era diseñada con una cortina especial de diferentes clases de colores.
El azul simboliza el cielo donde habita el Dios Eterno. La púrpura simboliza el reinado celestial de Dios. El carmesí simboliza la sangre derramada para redención del pecador, y el lino simboliza pureza, santidad.
Note que la entrada era sostenida por 4 columnas de plata sobre bases de bronce. El bronce simboliza la justicia de Dios, y la plata simboliza el perdón o redención.
Según varios eruditos y teólogos, ellos sugieren que los cuatro pilares simbolizan los 4 evangelios: Mateo, Marcos, Lucas y Juan.
Con estas descripciones, ¿puedes entender el significado de la puerta? ¡Esa es Jesuscristo!
¡Él Señor se identificó ante los judíos como la puerta! Lo encontraremos en Juan 10:9-10: “Yo soy la puerta; el que por mí entrare, será salvo; y entrará, y saldrá, y hallará pastos. El ladrón no viene sino para hurtar y matar y destruir; yo he venido para que tengan vida, y para que la tengan en abundancia.”
David sabía que el estar en la puerta de la presencia de Dios era mucho mejor que estar lejos. Leamos Salmos 84:10: “Porque mejor es un día en tus atrios que mil fuera de ellos. Escogería antes estar a la puerta de la casa de mi Dios, que habitar en las moradas de maldad.”
¡No hay ningún placer terrenal que supere el estar en la presencia del Señor! El salmista David sabía que Dios era la misma puerta a la bendición, por eso buscaba siempre el camino de Dios y entrar por sus puertas. Salmos 86:11 dice: “Enséñame, oh Jehová, tu camino; caminaré yo en tu verdad; afirma mi corazón para que tema tu nombre.”
Más adelante, David testifica la bendición de haber entrado por esta puerta como dice en Salmos 119:30: “Escogí el camino de la verdad; he puesto tus juicios delante de mí.”
Así que, no resistas más la voz de Dios que te llama y te dice: “Entra a mi presencia; recibe el perdón, la redención y la salvación”. Si algún día te alejaste del Señor, ¡tienes que entrar por la misma puerta! No hay otra religión, ni otro maestro, ni otro salvador, ni otro credo.
¡Entra con toda tu familia y habiten en los atrios del Señor!

“For the gate of the court there shall be a screen twenty cubits long, woven of blue, purple, and scarlet thread, and fine woven linen, made by a weaver. It shall have four pillars and four sockets. All the pillars around the court shall have bands of silver; their hooks shall be of silver and their sockets of bronze. The length of the court shall be one hundred cubits, the width fifty throughout, and the height five cubits, made of fine woven linen, and its sockets of bronze. All the utensils of the tabernacle for all its service, all its pegs, and all the pegs of the court, shall be of bronze.
“And you shall command the children of Israel that they bring you pure oil of pressed olives for the light, to cause the lamp to burn continually. In the tabernacle of meeting, outside the veil which is before the Testimony, Aaron and his sons shall tend it from evening until morning before the Lord. It shall be a statute forever to their generations on behalf of the children of Israel.

This chapter covers the construction of the bronze altar, where the people would present their offerings and burnt offerings to the Lord. Then follows the design of the court of the tabernacle, which is the entrance to the tabernacle of God and the place that the priests used to offer the sacrifices because the altar and the bronze laver (basin) were there. At the end it explains about the special and pure oil that had to be attracted to light the tabernacle inside the holy place with the lampstand of seven lamps.
Today I would like us to detail the construction of the entrance. The tabernacle had only one entrance. There was no other alternative to access the presence of God. It was designed with a special curtain of different kinds of colors.
Blue symbolizes the sky where the Eternal God dwells. Purple symbolizes the heavenly reign of God. Crimson symbolizes the blood shed for the sinner's redemption, and linen symbolizes purity, holiness.
Note that the entrance was supported by 4 silver columns on bronze bases. The bronze symbolizes the justice of God, and the silver symbolizes forgiveness or redemption.
According to various scholars and theologians, they suggest that the four pillars symbolize the 4 gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.
With these descriptions, can you understand the meaning of the door? That is Jesus Christ!
The Lord identified Himself to the Jews as the door! We will find it in John 10:9-10: “I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”
David knew that being at the door of God's presence was far better than being far away. Let's read Psalm 84:10: “For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness.”
There is no earthly pleasure that surpasses being in the presence of the Lord! The psalmist David knew that God was the very door to blessing, that is why he always sought God's way and entered through his doors. Psalm 86:11 says: “Teach me Your way, O Lord; I will walk in Your truth; unite my heart to fear Your name.
Further on, David testifies to the blessing of having entered through this gate as Psalms 119:30 says: “I have chosen the way of truth; Your judgments I have laid before me.”
So do not resist the voice of God that calls you and tells you: “Come into My presence; receive forgiveness, redemption and salvation.” If one day you walked away from the Lord, you have to enter through the same door! There is no other religion, no other teacher, no other savior, no other creed.
Enter with all your family and dwell in the courts of the Lord!

Según varios eruditos y teólogos, ellos sugieren que los cuatro pilares simbolizan los 4 evangelios: Mateo, Marcos, Lucas y Juan.
Con estas descripciones, ¿puedes entender el significado de la puerta? ¡Esa es Jesuscristo!
¡Él Señor se identificó ante los judíos como la puerta! Lo encontraremos en Juan 10:9-10: “Yo soy la puerta; el que por mí entrare, será salvo; y entrará, y saldrá, y hallará pastos. El ladrón no viene sino para hurtar y matar y destruir; yo he venido para que tengan vida, y para que la tengan en abundancia.”
David sabía que el estar en la puerta de la presencia de Dios era mucho mejor que estar lejos. Leamos Salmos 84:10: “Porque mejor es un día en tus atrios que mil fuera de ellos. Escogería antes estar a la puerta de la casa de mi Dios, que habitar en las moradas de maldad.”
¡No hay ningún placer terrenal que supere el estar en la presencia del Señor! El salmista David sabía que Dios era la misma puerta a la bendición, por eso buscaba siempre el camino de Dios y entrar por sus puertas. Salmos 86:11 dice: “Enséñame, oh Jehová, tu camino; caminaré yo en tu verdad; afirma mi corazón para que tema tu nombre.”
Más adelante, David testifica la bendición de haber entrado por esta puerta como dice en Salmos 119:30: “Escogí el camino de la verdad; he puesto tus juicios delante de mí.”
Así que, no resistas más la voz de Dios que te llama y te dice: “Entra a mi presencia; recibe el perdón, la redención y la salvación”. Si algún día te alejaste del Señor, ¡tienes que entrar por la misma puerta! No hay otra religión, ni otro maestro, ni otro salvador, ni otro credo.
¡Entra con toda tu familia y habiten en los atrios del Señor!

Exodus 27: The Only Entrance to the Presence of God.
Exodus 27:16-21:
“For the gate of the court there shall be a screen twenty cubits long, woven of blue, purple, and scarlet thread, and fine woven linen, made by a weaver. It shall have four pillars and four sockets. All the pillars around the court shall have bands of silver; their hooks shall be of silver and their sockets of bronze. The length of the court shall be one hundred cubits, the width fifty throughout, and the height five cubits, made of fine woven linen, and its sockets of bronze. All the utensils of the tabernacle for all its service, all its pegs, and all the pegs of the court, shall be of bronze.
“And you shall command the children of Israel that they bring you pure oil of pressed olives for the light, to cause the lamp to burn continually. In the tabernacle of meeting, outside the veil which is before the Testimony, Aaron and his sons shall tend it from evening until morning before the Lord. It shall be a statute forever to their generations on behalf of the children of Israel.

This chapter covers the construction of the bronze altar, where the people would present their offerings and burnt offerings to the Lord. Then follows the design of the court of the tabernacle, which is the entrance to the tabernacle of God and the place that the priests used to offer the sacrifices because the altar and the bronze laver (basin) were there. At the end it explains about the special and pure oil that had to be attracted to light the tabernacle inside the holy place with the lampstand of seven lamps.
Today I would like us to detail the construction of the entrance. The tabernacle had only one entrance. There was no other alternative to access the presence of God. It was designed with a special curtain of different kinds of colors.
Blue symbolizes the sky where the Eternal God dwells. Purple symbolizes the heavenly reign of God. Crimson symbolizes the blood shed for the sinner's redemption, and linen symbolizes purity, holiness.
Note that the entrance was supported by 4 silver columns on bronze bases. The bronze symbolizes the justice of God, and the silver symbolizes forgiveness or redemption.
According to various scholars and theologians, they suggest that the four pillars symbolize the 4 gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.
With these descriptions, can you understand the meaning of the door? That is Jesus Christ!
The Lord identified Himself to the Jews as the door! We will find it in John 10:9-10: “I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”
David knew that being at the door of God's presence was far better than being far away. Let's read Psalm 84:10: “For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness.”
There is no earthly pleasure that surpasses being in the presence of the Lord! The psalmist David knew that God was the very door to blessing, that is why he always sought God's way and entered through his doors. Psalm 86:11 says: “Teach me Your way, O Lord; I will walk in Your truth; unite my heart to fear Your name.
Further on, David testifies to the blessing of having entered through this gate as Psalms 119:30 says: “I have chosen the way of truth; Your judgments I have laid before me.”
So do not resist the voice of God that calls you and tells you: “Come into My presence; receive forgiveness, redemption and salvation.” If one day you walked away from the Lord, you have to enter through the same door! There is no other religion, no other teacher, no other savior, no other creed.
Enter with all your family and dwell in the courts of the Lord!
