Éxodo 4:18-31 RVA2015:
Entonces Moisés se fue y volvió a donde estaba su suegro Jetro y le dijo: —Permite que yo vaya y vuelva a mis hermanos que están en Egipto, para ver si aún están vivos. Y Jetro dijo a Moisés: —Ve en paz. El SEÑOR dijo también a Moisés en Madián: —Ve, vuélvete a Egipto, porque han muerto todos los que procuraban matarte. Entonces Moisés tomó a su mujer y a sus hijos, los puso sobre un asno y regresó a la tierra de Egipto. Moisés tomó también en su mano la vara de Dios. Y el SEÑOR dijo a Moisés: —Cuando estés de regreso en Egipto, haz en presencia del faraón todas las señales que he puesto en tu mano. Sin embargo, yo endureceré su corazón, y él no dejará ir al pueblo. Entonces dirás al faraón: “Así ha dicho el SEÑOR: ‘Israel es mi hijo, mi primogénito. Yo te digo que dejes ir a mi hijo para que me sirva. Si rehúsas dejarlo ir, he aquí que yo mataré a tu hijo, a tu primogénito’”. Aconteció en el camino, en una posada, que el SEÑOR le salió al encuentro y procuró matarlo. Entonces Séfora tomó un pedernal afilado, cortó el prepucio de su hijo y tocó con él los pies de Moisés, diciendo: —¡De veras, tú eres para mí un esposo de sangre! Entonces él desistió. Ella había dicho “esposo de sangre” a causa de la circuncisión. Entonces el SEÑOR dijo a Aarón: —Ve al desierto, al encuentro de Moisés. Él fue y lo encontró en el monte de Dios, y lo besó. Entonces Moisés refirió a Aarón todas las palabras que el SEÑOR lo enviaba a decir y todas las señales que lo mandaba hacer. Moisés y Aarón fueron, y reunieron a todos los ancianos de los hijos de Israel. Aarón relató todas las cosas que el SEÑOR había dicho a Moisés, y este hizo las señales ante los ojos del pueblo. En este capítulo vemos cómo Dios dialogaba con Moisés, tratando de convencerlo para que creyera que él era el elegido para liberar al pueblo de la esclavitud. Dios se enojó con Moisés y lo reprendió pero, a la vez, le mostró que Dios tenía todo en control. Dios estaba formando un equipo de ministerio a Moisés con los miembros de su familia. Mientras que Moisés estaba escuchando el llamado de Dios, a la misma vez, Dios estaba llamando a Aarón, el hermano de Moisés, para que sea su vocero, su representante.
Moisés también habló con su suegro y su suegro lo apoyó. Su esposa, al principio, dudó pero lo acompañó. Ella no quería circuncidar a su hijo pero vio que esto le estaba trayendo malas consecuencias, y por eso aceptó circuncidar al niño y afirmó en su corazón la seriedad que conlleva el ser marido y mujer, que Moisés fue el hombre que Dios escogió para una misión importante y que Dios exigía que estuvieran en común acuerdo para esta misión.
Cuando Moisés se encontró con Aarón, él le compartió los detalles del llamamiento sobrenatural que recibió de Dios, ya que Aarón también escuchó la voz de Dios, ordenándole que se reuniera con Moisés.
Dios orquestó este plan divino usando a Moisés y a los miembros de su familia. Aunque el escogido para sacar a Israel de Egipto fue Moisés, él contó con el apoyo de mucha gente que le rodeó y le apoyó. Su suegro, su esposa, su hermano y hasta su hermana que, más adelante en el desierto, la veremos como líder entre las mujeres.
Como hogares de pacto, debemos apoyarnos mutuamente cuando Dios nos escoja para servirle. Uno solo no puede hacerlo, Dios estableció a la familia para que juntos busquen la presencia de Dios, dediquen sus vidas al servicio del Señor y se apoyen mutuamente en el desarrollo de esa visión recibida de parte de Dios y que se unan para llevar a cabo la misión que Dios ha ordenado que hagan.
La ministración y cuidado espiritual de tu hogar es tu principal misión, y cuando el hogar está firme, juntos pueden alcanzar muchas metas en el Reino de Dios, poniéndose al servicio de tu pastor y ser una gran ayuda en su congregación, impactando muchas vidas con la luz de las buenas nuevas y viendo la mano de Dios manifestarse por medio de ustedes; hogares de pacto consagrados a Dios.

So Moses went and returned to Jethro, his father-in-law, and said to him, “Please let me go and return to my brethren who are in Egypt, and see whether they are still alive.”
And Jethro said to Moses, “Go in peace.”
Now the Lord said to Moses in Midian, “Go, return to Egypt; for all the men who sought your life are dead.” Then Moses took his wife and his sons and set them on a donkey, and he returned to the land of Egypt. And Moses took the rod of God in his hand.
And the Lord said to Moses, “When you go back to Egypt, see that you do all those wonders before Pharaoh which I have put in your hand. But I will harden his heart, so that he will not let the people go. Then you shall say to Pharaoh, ‘Thus says the Lord: “Israel is My son, My firstborn. So I say to you, let My son go that he may serve Me. But if you refuse to let him go, indeed I will kill your son, your firstborn.” ’ ”
And it came to pass on the way, at the encampment, that the Lord met him and sought to kill him. Then Zipporah took a sharp stone and cut off the foreskin of her son and cast it at Moses’ feet, and said, “Surely you are a husband of blood to me!” So He let him go. Then she said, “You are a husband of blood!”—because of the circumcision.
And the Lord said to Aaron, “Go into the wilderness to meet Moses.” So he went and met him on the mountain of God, and kissed him. So Moses told Aaron all the words of the Lord who had sent him, and all the signs which He had commanded him. Then Moses and Aaron went and gathered together all the elders of the children of Israel. And Aaron spoke all the words which the Lord had spoken to Moses. Then he did the signs in the sight of the people. So the people believed; and when they heard that the Lord had visited the children of Israel and that He had looked on their affliction, then they bowed their heads and worshiped.
In this chapter we see how God was in dialogue with Moses, trying to convince him to believe that he was the one chosen to free the people from slavery. God got angry with Moses and rebuked him but, at the same time, showed him that God was in control. God was forming a ministry team for Moses with members of his family. While Moses was listening to God's call, at the same time, God was calling Aaron, Moses' brother, to be his spokesman, his representative.
Moses also talked to his father-in-law and his father-in-law supported him. His wife, at first, hesitated but accompanied him. She did not want to circumcise her son but she saw that this was bringing her bad consequences, and that is why she agreed to circumcise the boy and affirmed in her heart the seriousness that comes with being husband and wife, that Moses was the man that God chose for a mission important and that God required that they be in common agreement for this mission.
When Moses met Aaron, he shared the details of the supernatural calling he received from God, as Aaron also heard the voice of God, commanding him to meet with Moses.
God orchestrated this divine plan using Moses and his family members. Although the one chosen to lead Israel out of Egypt was Moses, he had the support of many people who surrounded him and supported him. His father-in-law, his wife, his brother and even his sister who, later in the desert, we will see as a leader among women.
As covenant households, we are to support each other when God chooses us to serve Him. One cannot do it alone, God established the family so that together they seek the presence of God, dedicate their lives to the service of the Lord and support each other in the development of that vision received from God and that they unite to carry out the mission that God has ordained them to do.
The ministry and spiritual care of your home is your main mission, and when the home is strong, together you can achieve many goals in the Kingdom of God, putting yourself at the service of your pastor and being a great help in his congregation, impacting many lives with the light of the good news and seeing the hand of God manifest through you; covenant homes consecrated to God.

Entonces Moisés tomó a su mujer y a sus hijos, los puso sobre un asno y regresó a la tierra de Egipto. Moisés tomó también en su mano la vara de Dios. Y el SEÑOR dijo a Moisés: —Cuando estés de regreso en Egipto, haz en presencia del faraón todas las señales que he puesto en tu mano. Sin embargo, yo endureceré su corazón, y él no dejará ir al pueblo. Entonces dirás al faraón: “Así ha dicho el SEÑOR: ‘Israel es mi hijo, mi primogénito. Yo te digo que dejes ir a mi hijo para que me sirva. Si rehúsas dejarlo ir, he aquí que yo mataré a tu hijo, a tu primogénito’”. Aconteció en el camino, en una posada, que el SEÑOR le salió al encuentro y procuró matarlo. Entonces Séfora tomó un pedernal afilado, cortó el prepucio de su hijo y tocó con él los pies de Moisés, diciendo: —¡De veras, tú eres para mí un esposo de sangre! Entonces él desistió. Ella había dicho “esposo de sangre” a causa de la circuncisión. Entonces el SEÑOR dijo a Aarón: —Ve al desierto, al encuentro de Moisés. Él fue y lo encontró en el monte de Dios, y lo besó. Entonces Moisés refirió a Aarón todas las palabras que el SEÑOR lo enviaba a decir y todas las señales que lo mandaba hacer. Moisés y Aarón fueron, y reunieron a todos los ancianos de los hijos de Israel. Aarón relató todas las cosas que el SEÑOR había dicho a Moisés, y este hizo las señales ante los ojos del pueblo. El pueblo creyó; y al oír que el SEÑOR había visitado a los hijos de Israel y que había visto su aflicción, se inclinaron y adoraron.
En este capítulo vemos cómo Dios dialogaba con Moisés, tratando de convencerlo para que creyera que él era el elegido para liberar al pueblo de la esclavitud. Dios se enojó con Moisés y lo reprendió pero, a la vez, le mostró que Dios tenía todo en control. Dios estaba formando un equipo de ministerio a Moisés con los miembros de su familia. Mientras que Moisés estaba escuchando el llamado de Dios, a la misma vez, Dios estaba llamando a Aarón, el hermano de Moisés, para que sea su vocero, su representante.
Moisés también habló con su suegro y su suegro lo apoyó. Su esposa, al principio, dudó pero lo acompañó. Ella no quería circuncidar a su hijo pero vio que esto le estaba trayendo malas consecuencias, y por eso aceptó circuncidar al niño y afirmó en su corazón la seriedad que conlleva el ser marido y mujer, que Moisés fue el hombre que Dios escogió para una misión importante y que Dios exigía que estuvieran en común acuerdo para esta misión.
Cuando Moisés se encontró con Aarón, él le compartió los detalles del llamamiento sobrenatural que recibió de Dios, ya que Aarón también escuchó la voz de Dios, ordenándole que se reuniera con Moisés.
Dios orquestó este plan divino usando a Moisés y a los miembros de su familia. Aunque el escogido para sacar a Israel de Egipto fue Moisés, él contó con el apoyo de mucha gente que le rodeó y le apoyó. Su suegro, su esposa, su hermano y hasta su hermana que, más adelante en el desierto, la veremos como líder entre las mujeres.
Como hogares de pacto, debemos apoyarnos mutuamente cuando Dios nos escoja para servirle. Uno solo no puede hacerlo, Dios estableció a la familia para que juntos busquen la presencia de Dios, dediquen sus vidas al servicio del Señor y se apoyen mutuamente en el desarrollo de esa visión recibida de parte de Dios y que se unan para llevar a cabo la misión que Dios ha ordenado que hagan.
La ministración y cuidado espiritual de tu hogar es tu principal misión, y cuando el hogar está firme, juntos pueden alcanzar muchas metas en el Reino de Dios, poniéndose al servicio de tu pastor y ser una gran ayuda en su congregación, impactando muchas vidas con la luz de las buenas nuevas y viendo la mano de Dios manifestarse por medio de ustedes; hogares de pacto consagrados a Dios.

Exodus 4: The mission of one is the mission of all.
Exodus 4:18-31:
So Moses went and returned to Jethro, his father-in-law, and said to him, “Please let me go and return to my brethren who are in Egypt, and see whether they are still alive.”
And Jethro said to Moses, “Go in peace.”
Now the Lord said to Moses in Midian, “Go, return to Egypt; for all the men who sought your life are dead.” Then Moses took his wife and his sons and set them on a donkey, and he returned to the land of Egypt. And Moses took the rod of God in his hand.
And the Lord said to Moses, “When you go back to Egypt, see that you do all those wonders before Pharaoh which I have put in your hand. But I will harden his heart, so that he will not let the people go. Then you shall say to Pharaoh, ‘Thus says the Lord: “Israel is My son, My firstborn. So I say to you, let My son go that he may serve Me. But if you refuse to let him go, indeed I will kill your son, your firstborn.” ’ ”
And it came to pass on the way, at the encampment, that the Lord met him and sought to kill him. Then Zipporah took a sharp stone and cut off the foreskin of her son and cast it at Moses’ feet, and said, “Surely you are a husband of blood to me!” So He let him go. Then she said, “You are a husband of blood!”—because of the circumcision.
And the Lord said to Aaron, “Go into the wilderness to meet Moses.” So he went and met him on the mountain of God, and kissed him. So Moses told Aaron all the words of the Lord who had sent him, and all the signs which He had commanded him. Then Moses and Aaron went and gathered together all the elders of the children of Israel. And Aaron spoke all the words which the Lord had spoken to Moses. Then he did the signs in the sight of the people. So the people believed; and when they heard that the Lord had visited the children of Israel and that He had looked on their affliction, then they bowed their heads and worshiped.
In this chapter we see how God was in dialogue with Moses, trying to convince him to believe that he was the one chosen to free the people from slavery. God got angry with Moses and rebuked him but, at the same time, showed him that God was in control. God was forming a ministry team for Moses with members of his family. While Moses was listening to God's call, at the same time, God was calling Aaron, Moses' brother, to be his spokesman, his representative.
Moses also talked to his father-in-law and his father-in-law supported him. His wife, at first, hesitated but accompanied him. She did not want to circumcise her son but she saw that this was bringing her bad consequences, and that is why she agreed to circumcise the boy and affirmed in her heart the seriousness that comes with being husband and wife, that Moses was the man that God chose for a mission important and that God required that they be in common agreement for this mission.
When Moses met Aaron, he shared the details of the supernatural calling he received from God, as Aaron also heard the voice of God, commanding him to meet with Moses.
God orchestrated this divine plan using Moses and his family members. Although the one chosen to lead Israel out of Egypt was Moses, he had the support of many people who surrounded him and supported him. His father-in-law, his wife, his brother and even his sister who, later in the desert, we will see as a leader among women.
As covenant households, we are to support each other when God chooses us to serve Him. One cannot do it alone, God established the family so that together they seek the presence of God, dedicate their lives to the service of the Lord and support each other in the development of that vision received from God and that they unite to carry out the mission that God has ordained them to do.
The ministry and spiritual care of your home is your main mission, and when the home is strong, together you can achieve many goals in the Kingdom of God, putting yourself at the service of your pastor and being a great help in his congregation, impacting many lives with the light of the good news and seeing the hand of God manifest through you; covenant homes consecrated to God.
