Éxodo 5:14-23:
14 Y azotaron a los vigilantes de los hijos de Israel que habían sido puestos por los capataces del faraón, y les dijeron: —¿Por qué no han completado su cantidad de adobes ni ayer ni hoy, como antes?
15 Los vigilantes de los hijos de Israel fueron al faraón y se quejaron ante él diciendo: —¿Por qué procedes así con tus siervos? 16 No se da paja a tus siervos, y con todo nos dicen: “¡Hagan adobes!”. He aquí, tus siervos son azotados, cuando la culpa es de tu propio pueblo.
17 Él respondió: —¡Están ociosos! ¡Sí, ociosos! Por eso dicen: “Vayamos y ofrezcamos sacrificios al SEÑOR”. 18 Vayan, pues, ahora y trabajen. No se les dará paja, pero habrán de entregar la misma cantidad de adobes.
19 Entonces los vigilantes de los hijos de Israel se vieron en aflicción, cuando les dijeron: “No se disminuirá en nada su cantidad diaria de adobes”. 20 Cuando ellos salían del palacio del faraón, se encontraron con Moisés y Aarón, que estaban esperándolos, 21 y les dijeron: —El SEÑOR los mire y los juzgue, pues nos han hecho odiosos ante los ojos del faraón y los de sus servidores, poniendo en sus manos la espada para que nos maten.
22 Entonces Moisés se volvió al SEÑOR y le dijo: —Señor, ¿por qué maltratas a este pueblo? ¿Para qué me enviaste? 23 Porque desde que fui al faraón para hablarle en tu nombre, él ha maltratado a este pueblo, y tú no has librado a tu pueblo.
Este es el momento crucial donde Moisés, por primera vez, se presentó ante el faraón. Él hizo lo que nunca pensó hacer: confrontar al faraón. Moisés siguió las instrucciones del Señor. Ya se había presentado ante los ancianos de Israel, y ellos sintieron una gran esperanza, creyendo que tal vez este era el momento de liberación y donde Dios iba a cumplir su promesa a Abraham de sacarlos de Egipto. Ya habían pasado 400 años desde la promesa, y ellos clamaron a Dios, por eso Dios envió a Moises.
Ellos protestaron ante el faraón, exigiendo que los deje ir a adorar a Dios, y el faraón respondió con tareas más pesadas y tratándolos con más aspereza. Esto trajo un choque emocional fuerte entre los ancianos de Israel y Moisés. La desilusión comenzó a tomar los corazones de todos, y Moisés se frustró por el resultado de sus acciones. Aquí comienza un proceso de choques de fuerzas. En los próximos capítulos veremos la lucha entre el bien y el mal; entre la brujería y el Espíritu de Dios.
Antes de la liberación, debe haber confrontación. Esta es la parte que no nos gusta. Debemos estar preparados ante la prueba, la lucha, la resistencia que el adversario pone ante aquel que quiere ser libre de la esclavitud.
No te desanimes fácilmente cuando propongas en tu corazón hacer la voluntad de Dios. La victoria y la liberación están garantizadas pero no te quedes atascado en el camino, ¡lucha y persevera!
Jesucristo le enseñó esto a los apóstoles, y ellos enfrentaron toda clase de ataques y pruebas; sin embargo, ellos nunca renunciaron a su llamado. Al contrario, ellos se sintieron dignos de sufrir por causa del mensaje del Evangelio y de llevar las marcas de sufrimiento en sus cuerpos. Ellos sabían que nada los iba a detener porque la victoria estaba asegurada, que el mensaje sería predicado a todo el mundo no importando los ataques de satanás.
Al fin y al cabo, ¡el enemigo estaba derrotado y toda autoridad se le dio a la iglesia! (Lucas 10:19).
Cuando Dios determina liberar a su pueblo de las garras de satanás, no importa los maltratos del faraón, su hora de castigo le llegará y el pueblo disfrutará de su libertad, pero primero tendrán que pasar por desprecios para que de esa manera el Señor pueda desplegar todo su poder y su gloria ante todas las naciones.
Anima a tu familia cuando estén pasando por pruebas. Recuérdales que después de la tribulación vendrá la liberación con poder y gloria de Dios.

Also the officers of the children of Israel, whom Pharaoh’s taskmasters had set over them, were beaten and were asked, “Why have you not fulfilled your task in making brick both yesterday and today, as before?”
Then the officers of the children of Israel came and cried out to Pharaoh, saying, “Why are you dealing thus with your servants? There is no straw given to your servants, and they say to us, ‘Make brick!’ And indeed your servants are beaten, but the fault is in your own people.”
But he said, “You are idle! Idle! Therefore you say, ‘Let us go and sacrifice to the Lord.’ Therefore go now and work; for no straw shall be given you, yet you shall deliver the quota of bricks.” And the officers of the children of Israel saw that they were in trouble after it was said, “You shall not reduce any bricks from your daily quota.”
Then, as they came out from Pharaoh, they met Moses and Aaron who stood there to meet them. And they said to them, “Let the Lord look on you and judge, because you have made us abhorrent in the sight of Pharaoh and in the sight of his servants, to put a sword in their hand to kill us.”
So Moses returned to the Lord and said, “Lord, why have You brought trouble on this people? Why is it You have sent me? For since I came to Pharaoh to speak in Your name, he has done evil to this people; neither have You delivered Your people at all.”
This is the crucial moment where Moses first appeared before Pharaoh. He did what he never thought to do: confront Pharaoh. Moses followed the instructions of the Lord. He had already appeared before the elders of Israel, and they felt great hope, believing that perhaps this was the moment of liberation and where God was going to fulfill His promise to Abraham to take them out of Egypt. 400 years had already passed since the promise, and they cried out to God, that's why God sent Moses.
They protested to Pharaoh, demanding that he let them go to worship God, and Pharaoh responded with heavier tasks and treating them more harshly. This brought a strong emotional clash between the elders of Israel and Moses. Disappointment began to take over everyone's hearts, and Moses was frustrated at the result of his actions. No one expected this result. Everyone thought that, at that moment, Pharaoh would let them go, but God had already warned Moses and Aaron that Pharaoh would let go but it would not be that easy, it would have to be by force.
Here begins a process of clashes of forces. In the next chapters we will see the fight between good and evil; between witchcraft and the Spirit of God.
Before liberation, there must be confrontation. This is the part we don't like. We must be prepared for the trials, the struggle, the resistance that the adversary puts up against those who want to be free from slavery.
Do not be easily discouraged when you set out in your heart to do the will of God. Victory and liberation are guaranteed but don't stay stuck in the way, fight and persevere!.
Jesus Christ taught this to the apostles, and they faced all kinds of attacks and trials; however, they never gave up their calling. On the contrary, they felt worthy to suffer because of the Gospel message and to bear the marks of suffering on their bodies. They knew that nothing was going to stop them because victory was assured, that the message would be preached to the whole world regardless of Satan's attacks.
After all, the enemy was defeated and all authority was given to the church! (Luke 10:19).
When God determines to free His people from the clutches of Satan, no matter the Pharaoh's mistreatment, his hour of punishment will come and the people will enjoy their freedom, but first they will have to go through contempt so that in that way the Lord can deploy all His power and His glory before all nations.
Encourage your family when they are going through trials. Remind them that after the tribulation will come deliverance with the power and glory of God.

15 Los vigilantes de los hijos de Israel fueron al faraón y se quejaron ante él diciendo: —¿Por qué procedes así con tus siervos? 16 No se da paja a tus siervos, y con todo nos dicen: “¡Hagan adobes!”. He aquí, tus siervos son azotados, cuando la culpa es de tu propio pueblo.
17 Él respondió: —¡Están ociosos! ¡Sí, ociosos! Por eso dicen: “Vayamos y ofrezcamos sacrificios al SEÑOR”. 18 Vayan, pues, ahora y trabajen. No se les dará paja, pero habrán de entregar la misma cantidad de adobes.
19 Entonces los vigilantes de los hijos de Israel se vieron en aflicción, cuando les dijeron: “No se disminuirá en nada su cantidad diaria de adobes”. 20 Cuando ellos salían del palacio del faraón, se encontraron con Moisés y Aarón, que estaban esperándolos, 21 y les dijeron: —El SEÑOR los mire y los juzgue, pues nos han hecho odiosos ante los ojos del faraón y los de sus servidores, poniendo en sus manos la espada para que nos maten.
22 Entonces Moisés se volvió al SEÑOR y le dijo: —Señor, ¿por qué maltratas a este pueblo? ¿Para qué me enviaste? 23 Porque desde que fui al faraón para hablarle en tu nombre, él ha maltratado a este pueblo, y tú no has librado a tu pueblo.
Este es el momento crucial donde Moisés, por primera vez, se presentó ante el faraón. Él hizo lo que nunca pensó hacer: confrontar al faraón. Moisés siguió las instrucciones del Señor. Ya se había presentado ante los ancianos de Israel, y ellos sintieron una gran esperanza, creyendo que tal vez este era el momento de liberación y donde Dios iba a cumplir su promesa a Abraham de sacarlos de Egipto. Ya habían pasado 400 años desde la promesa, y ellos clamaron a Dios, por eso Dios envió a Moises.
Ellos protestaron ante el faraón, exigiendo que los deje ir a adorar a Dios, y el faraón respondió con tareas más pesadas y tratándolos con más aspereza. Esto trajo un choque emocional fuerte entre los ancianos de Israel y Moisés. La desilusión comenzó a tomar los corazones de todos, y Moisés se frustró por el resultado de sus acciones. Nadie se esperaba este resultado. Todos pensaron que, en ese momento, el faraón los dejaría ir, pero Dios ya le había advertido a Moisés y Aarón que el faraón los dejaría ir pero no iba a ser tan fácil, tendría que ser a la fuerza.
Aquí comienza un proceso de choques de fuerzas. En los próximos capítulos veremos la lucha entre el bien y el mal; entre la brujería y el Espíritu de Dios.
Antes de la liberación, debe haber confrontación. Esta es la parte que no nos gusta. Debemos estar preparados ante la prueba, la lucha, la resistencia que el adversario pone ante aquel que quiere ser libre de la esclavitud.
No te desanimes fácilmente cuando propongas en tu corazón hacer la voluntad de Dios. La victoria y la liberación están garantizadas pero no te quedes atascado en el camino, ¡lucha y persevera!
Jesucristo le enseñó esto a los apóstoles, y ellos enfrentaron toda clase de ataques y pruebas; sin embargo, ellos nunca renunciaron a su llamado. Al contrario, ellos se sintieron dignos de sufrir por causa del mensaje del Evangelio y de llevar las marcas de sufrimiento en sus cuerpos. Ellos sabían que nada los iba a detener porque la victoria estaba asegurada, que el mensaje sería predicado a todo el mundo no importando los ataques de satanás.
Al fin y al cabo, ¡el enemigo estaba derrotado y toda autoridad se le dio a la iglesia! (Lucas 10:19).
Cuando Dios determina liberar a su pueblo de las garras de satanás, no importa los maltratos del faraón, su hora de castigo le llegará y el pueblo disfrutará de su libertad, pero primero tendrán que pasar por desprecios para que de esa manera el Señor pueda desplegar todo su poder y su gloria ante todas las naciones.
Anima a tu familia cuando estén pasando por pruebas. Recuérdales que después de la tribulación vendrá la liberación con poder y gloria de Dios.

Exodus 5: Before liberation will come confrontation.
Exodus 5:14-23:
Also the officers of the children of Israel, whom Pharaoh’s taskmasters had set over them, were beaten and were asked, “Why have you not fulfilled your task in making brick both yesterday and today, as before?”
Then the officers of the children of Israel came and cried out to Pharaoh, saying, “Why are you dealing thus with your servants? There is no straw given to your servants, and they say to us, ‘Make brick!’ And indeed your servants are beaten, but the fault is in your own people.”
But he said, “You are idle! Idle! Therefore you say, ‘Let us go and sacrifice to the Lord.’ Therefore go now and work; for no straw shall be given you, yet you shall deliver the quota of bricks.” And the officers of the children of Israel saw that they were in trouble after it was said, “You shall not reduce any bricks from your daily quota.”
Then, as they came out from Pharaoh, they met Moses and Aaron who stood there to meet them. And they said to them, “Let the Lord look on you and judge, because you have made us abhorrent in the sight of Pharaoh and in the sight of his servants, to put a sword in their hand to kill us.”
So Moses returned to the Lord and said, “Lord, why have You brought trouble on this people? Why is it You have sent me? For since I came to Pharaoh to speak in Your name, he has done evil to this people; neither have You delivered Your people at all.”
This is the crucial moment where Moses first appeared before Pharaoh. He did what he never thought to do: confront Pharaoh. Moses followed the instructions of the Lord. He had already appeared before the elders of Israel, and they felt great hope, believing that perhaps this was the moment of liberation and where God was going to fulfill His promise to Abraham to take them out of Egypt. 400 years had already passed since the promise, and they cried out to God, that's why God sent Moses.
They protested to Pharaoh, demanding that he let them go to worship God, and Pharaoh responded with heavier tasks and treating them more harshly. This brought a strong emotional clash between the elders of Israel and Moses. Disappointment began to take over everyone's hearts, and Moses was frustrated at the result of his actions. No one expected this result. Everyone thought that, at that moment, Pharaoh would let them go, but God had already warned Moses and Aaron that Pharaoh would let go but it would not be that easy, it would have to be by force.
Here begins a process of clashes of forces. In the next chapters we will see the fight between good and evil; between witchcraft and the Spirit of God.
Before liberation, there must be confrontation. This is the part we don't like. We must be prepared for the trials, the struggle, the resistance that the adversary puts up against those who want to be free from slavery.
Do not be easily discouraged when you set out in your heart to do the will of God. Victory and liberation are guaranteed but don't stay stuck in the way, fight and persevere!.
Jesus Christ taught this to the apostles, and they faced all kinds of attacks and trials; however, they never gave up their calling. On the contrary, they felt worthy to suffer because of the Gospel message and to bear the marks of suffering on their bodies. They knew that nothing was going to stop them because victory was assured, that the message would be preached to the whole world regardless of Satan's attacks.
After all, the enemy was defeated and all authority was given to the church! (Luke 10:19).
When God determines to free His people from the clutches of Satan, no matter the Pharaoh's mistreatment, his hour of punishment will come and the people will enjoy their freedom, but first they will have to go through contempt so that in that way the Lord can deploy all His power and His glory before all nations.
Encourage your family when they are going through trials. Remind them that after the tribulation will come deliverance with the power and glory of God.
