The final plague and institution of the Passover in Exodus 11:1-12:28 displayed God’s restoration work in 4 movements: how our restoration requires sacrifice, how God provided the sacrifice for us (in the form of a lamb), how we receive God’s sacrifice, and how we share His testimony. As the plague unfolds, and the exodus of God’s people from Egypt takes place, we continue to see this theme fleshed out.
