“Ten Words” Sermon Series || Is there ever a time that lying is ok? Are ‘little white lies’ as harmless as we believe them to be? Are there times it’s ok to lie in order to protect our neighbor, such in Exodus 1 where the midwives wouldn’t kill the Israelite baby boys, or when Rahab protected the Israelite spies, or hiding Jews from Nazis? What does it mean to not bear false witness against our neighbors. In this sermon we ask those questions, as well as what are falsehood, witness, and truth?
