'“Ten Words” Sermon Series || We learn from the first commandment there is no one like God, therefore He alone is to be worshiped. In the second commandment God reveals there are both acceptable and unacceptable ways to worship Him. We are not to make an image of Him because our finite minds cannot grasp His full character. You and I may no be tempted to carve a piece of wood and call it God, but we too are guilty of breaking this command when we define God by what we ‘think’ and ‘feel’ He’s like.
