In dealing with the laws of the covenant nation, it is important ot understand how God's law dealt with those who were not Hebrew.  There would be many strangers croming in or passing through the land of Canaan.  There were four typse of people that the Bible called "strangers".  Not all were the same. Each type was to bre treated differently.  In the United States, we too must differentiate between each of these four "strangers".  Treating them biblically will ensure justice and righteousness in the land.
