* When worship of God turned into worship of people and then a worship of an idol a party ensued.

* Their thirst for a party was a mask for their sin.

* It was their way of filling the gap in their heart.

* We were made to worship God in community.

* But when we worship anything other than God we still want community but not the worship.

* Why? Because when you play you forget the pain.

* When God has been replaced there will be a thirst to play.

* You will feel like you deserve to have a good time, like you’ve earned it.

* In pro ball my buddies had to have alcohol in order to have a good time.
