Moses goes back up to mount Sinai but this time he has to hew out the two stones and carry them up for God to write on them . This is a contrast from the first tablets which were both provided to moses by God and written on by God . As He talks with God he proclaims his name to Moses, and at the hearing of that name Moses falls down to worship.
