We explore Exodus 33 and show how God answers Moses’ request to see glory by revealing goodness, linking creation’s witness to God’s character and clarifying “face to face” without contradiction. We argue Moses could have been shown the “back parts” of history—the creation itself—just as John saw the future, and we call listeners to trust Jesus Christ.
