Expat greenies, is it possible or just a sham?

Listen Later

Another week where a post from our Facebook group generated a huge discussion that launched a podcast topic.

Joss posted about what she currently does as an environmentally aware expat in KL and asked others for ideas and tips to add into her own routine.

Is it in fact possible to be an Expat Greenie, or does any international air travel you do just cancel it all out? This led to Kirsty and Nikki interviewing some of the group’s members about their expat climate conscious experiences. Kirsty spoke to Victoria about her involvement in Going Green in Jakarta, and Susan about how Eco Ningbo came about. Nikki spoke to Kate in Cairns about replanting in the Daintree to offset her family’s international air travel through Rainforest Rescue.

The climate quiz Kirsty mentioned that you can take with your family. The other site / list mentioned, that shows what you and your family can do to contribute to climate awareness.
