418: Expectations set for a string of defensive performances

The Seahawks offense fell short against a Bengals defense that was smashing up against a second-string offensive line. Geno Smith missed several throws, some due to pressure, and some due to a subpar performance. We go through some of the points of the game that appeared to be the quarterback's fault and other parts where blame could be pushed toward coaching, penalties, play calling and other execution issues. Does DK Metcalf deserve any blame and we wonder if he's hearing any of the criticism that is building for some unnecessary antics? With the loss behind them, the Seahawks head back home for a stretch of two home games. The division rival Arizona Cardinals are only 1-5 on the season, but they've been playing tough and shouldn't be taken lightly (even in spite of their recent effort against the Rams).
