This session explores psychedelic science and federal Right to Try (RTT) law, which allows patients with life-threatening conditions to access investigational treatments outside of clinical trials. Featuring experts who helped pass historic psychedelic research legislation in Texas and Arizona, the panel will examine the scientific, legal, and ethical considerations of making these powerful but under-researched compounds accessible under RTT. Discussion will cover the current state of psychedelic research, pathways to FDA authorization, and how to qualify for compassionate use of psychedelics.
