Mr Prasanna Patwardhan (CMD, Prasanna Purple Mobility & President BOCI) shared his experience about operating electric buses in two cities and India’s first Inter city Electric Bus. He talked about some of the challenges with financing & infrastructure availability.  According to him, Economic case for EV adoption for buses is already strong if the per day driving distance is around 400KM and above. He sets the vision to operate electric buses wherever it makes economic sense.
