III) Experiences of Future Proposals
False Hopes: It aims to solve problems of the future by clarifying projects, and without the confusion or loss of time that false hopes cause.
The Guided Experiences were developed by Mario Rodriguez Cobos, better known as SILO. They consist of a series of phrases that describe the mental scenario in which the practitioner must place themselves, producing emotional climates that allow the emergence of core problems. These guided exercises help resolve knots of conflict in which we are trapped; the cause of the problems can be rooted in the past, such as guilt or resentment; or in the present, due to an overload of tension, anxiety, body image issues, or psychosomatic illnesses; or they may be due to difficulties with future time, in relation to the criterion of reality, and those caused by perplexity about the meaning of life, finitude, and transcendence.
A useful resource for personal nonviolence for those participating in Communities of Silo’s Message and the Humanist Movement as well as anyone working on combined personal and social change.
In the Guided Experiences of this storybook for grownups, rediscover the timeless literary and human experience of listening to stories read aloud. As you enter this playful theater you become the protagonist, seeing events in your life unfold amid the settings of these enchanting and useful stories that offer peace and understanding. A useful companion to the illustrated book.
Twenty-three guided experiences, scored with original music composed by Scott Tooby.
