Just as the deliverance of Israel from Egypt was God's divine standard of power in the Old Testament, so the resurrection of Christ from the dead is a divine standard of power in the New Testament, especially in relationship to His work for the Church.  This standard of power is described especially in (Ephesians 1:17-23) where the apostle expresses his prayer that the Ephesians Christians might 'know what is ...the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe'...
