Vijaya Sidhu is the Principal of Saint Soldier International School, Chandigarh. An educationist for over 30 years, she has done her Masters in English from Delhi University and is an alumni of Lady Shri Ram College. Her schooling till Class X was in the beautiful hills of Darjeeling. She then studied Humanities at Army Public School Dhaula Kuan, New Delhi. She has also done her MEd and Advanced Diploma in French from Delhi University. Her book of poems, ‘The Light Can Find Me’, published in 2018, reflects her thoughtful contemplations. She has worked in the editing team of a publishing house for developing quality English text books. She also does freelance work with the British Council.

Her belief is that every child has the potential to become his or her own best version and every teacher has the ability to make this happen. Born and brought up in a defense services family and also having married into one, Vijaya Sidhu has a rich store of teaching and administrative experience in schools and colleges across the country. A dynamic leader she inspires her school fraternity through her dedication, professionalism and commitment to achieving excellence together.
